Middlebrook Gardens Native Plant Nursery

To help you fill out your gardens during prime fall planting season, we have extended our fall hours beginning Tuesday, November 3 through Winter Solstice, Monday December 21, they now include some weekday hours.

Tuesday – Friday 2– 4:30
Saturday 10 – 4
We will be closed for Christmas on December 24, 25, 26.

We are available most days for drop-in nursery visits. We ask that you call ahead, since we are often out building or maintaining gardens. Our office number is (408) 292-9993.

Middlebrook Gardens wants to welcome you to come explore the beauty of sustainable native gardening possibilities at our new nursery.

The first of its kind, we have organized our nursery by plant community. There will be knowledgeable staff on hand to help answer questions about what plants are most suitable for your particular plant community. Feel free to bring pictures if you have any particular areas in your garden you'd like us to take a look at and give advice with sustainable landscape solutions.

We also have the revolutionary new book Designing California Native Gardens; the Plant Community Approach to Artful, Ecological Gardens available for sale. The sales of Ms. Middlebrook's book, as well as speaking and workshop revenues, benefit the California Native Garden Foundation (CNGF).

In addition, the Nursery offers a 10% discount to all CNGF members. If your local school would like to create a native garden as an outdoor classroom, CNGF has a grant program. To learn more, please go to www.cngf.org.

We hope to see you, and look forward to helping you reduce your carbon footprint by creating a native garden. With rising costs left and right, native gardens are a great way to take a first step to improve the environment and beautify your home.

Happy Gardening!
